TRAFFIC ALERT: Northbound 1st Avenue South Bridge closed all weekend

Just a reminder – the all-weekend closure is now under way. From WSDOT:

The NB SR 99 First Ave S bridge is CLOSED until 5 am Mon (5/11) for deck repairs. NB SR 99 must exit at S Cloverdale St.

ALSO CLOSED:
– First Ave S to NB SR 509
– W Marginal Way S to NB SR 99
– Occidental Ave S to NB SR 99
– First Avenue South Bridge Trail

Again, this is the NORTHBOUND side only – southbound remains open. Here’s what’s scheduled after this closure.

  I’d take West Marginal Way to the low bridge. Not much sale traffic along the industrial route.

The South Park bridge detour is actually pretty quick in the weekends.
